Richard Doust
Richard Doust is Academic Coordinator of eLearning at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design where he is currently developing online and virtual learning initiatives.
He works closely with cltad on the implementation of the University wide VLE and eLearning issues.
He has managed a number of collaborative online projects between Central Saint Martins and other institutions. Richard holds the Certificate in Online Teaching and Training from the Institute of Education.
He is co-author of ‘New Media Design’ to be published by Laurence King in 2006.
As Senior Tutor in Graphic Design at the Royal College of Art, London since 1986, he has taken part in the introduction and use of computers and software in the education of designers and in the design professions.
Previously he taught graphic design at St Martin’s School of Art and worked as a graphic designer in Australia and the UK.
Richard is a Fellow of the Royal College of Art and the Royal Society of Arts.
