Biography:

Peter Maloney is Senior Lecturer in Digital Media Practice and Coordinator of level 2 BA (Hons) Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Art and Design at the University of the Arts London. He is also currently the Course Director Designate of a new Graduate Diploma course in Motion Graphics due to start at Chelsea in October 2007.

In 2005 he undertook the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Art, Design and Communication at CLTAD conducting a short action research project exploring the potential of Wiki technology in fostering an autonomous and collaborative approach to learning in Level 2 Graphic Design Students.

The project proposed here as a short paper presentation is being funded by the Creative Learning in Practice Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at UAL, which encourages imaginative and realistic approaches to help learners to become practitioners in their chosen creative field.
