Biography:
Mick Eadie is Assistant Director of the Visual Arts Data Service, which also hosts AHDS Visual Arts. He has responsibility for overseeing VADS IT systems management and development, collections acquisition and preservation, and the advisory service to HE/FE, Arts and Heritage institutions, as well as managing various externally funded VADS projects. Having graduated from the University of Glasgow, with post-graduate Information Technology, he has developed, specific interest in computing in the arts, with an emphasis on designing and using Internet technologies and visual art image collections for teaching and research.
