Biography:
Bill joined the e-Learning Institute as the Senior Instructional Designer in November, 2005. He is responsible for supervising and managing all instructional design methodologies and strategies for the Institute, in addition to the management of the design and development of new courses.
Bill has over 15 years of experience in e-learning, having received his M.S. degree in Instructional Technology in 1991 from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining the e-Learning Institute, Bill worked in the IST Solutions Institute as an Instructional Designer, co-creating courses for Online IST and outside firms such as Lockheed Martin.
Bill's past accomplishments include the following:
- designed and developed computer-based instructional courseware for the MBA and Executive MBA programs in the Smeal College of Business
- core member of the design team creating the Noise Control Engineering Certificate Program for the World Campus
- designed some of the first interactive multimedia courseware offered via Penn State Independent Learning
- created computer-based training modules for the corporate sector in the early 1990s.
