Biography:
Katy Kjisik was born in 1977 in Finland. Her father is Finnish and mother is English. After her first year in high school she went to France as an exchange student for a year and then returned to Finland to finish school. After finishing she took a year out, and then moved to England to study Culture, Media and Communications at Lancaster University. After finishing her BA she moved back to Finland and in 2002 started working at the University of Art and Design. She began as a production assistant at the Virtual University unit, and is currently working as a Coordinator of Educational Technology in the Learning and Teaching Support Services of the University of Art and Design, Helsinki.
