Biography:
Mel Wood's explores convergence of visual, text and sound through exploration of historical and contemporary technologies. Recent exhibited projects include interactive works such as ‘Sonic Phonic’ funded by AHRC and a Scottish Arts Council commissioned digitally enhanced camera obscura ‘The Dark Room’, permanently installed on Cairngorm Mountain, Scotland 2007.
