Biography:
Professor Martti Raevaara is the head of MA eLearning programme Virt@ at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. The first project-based programme started 2001 and now the third programme will carried out during the years 2007-2010.
In addition to the Virt@ programme Martti Raevaara is involved in several national and international development projects of e-learning in art and design higher education. He is also a member of several steering and working groups of e-learning and media education.
Martti Raevaara has worked at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki over 25 years in several jobs, as a lecturer of photography and visual design, research assistant, professor and the dean at the School of Art Education.
